A "christ-ian" friend said this to me yesterday...
"Whenever you are a Pastor, the one thing you have to realize is that it's about the people, making sure you take care of the people."

My thoughts are this...
What "church" have you EVER been in where the pastor "took care" of the people? AND... Why aren't you still there???

There is no such place in existence today -- and more specifically -- DEFINITELY not in a church!

The rules set in place for the "ChurchGame" DO NOT include caring for the sheep...

The "ChurchGame" rules are founded and grounded in MONEY, POWER AND PRESTIGE!

Listen to what the Word of YAHWEH says in Jeremiah Chapter 23...

"Woe to the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! Says the LORD."

"Therefore the LORD God of Israel says against the pastors that feed my people;

You have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them:

Behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, says the LORD.

And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

And I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them: and they will fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither will they be lacking, says the LORD.

Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will raise up for David a Righteous Branch, and a King will reign and prosper, and will execute judgment and justice in the earth.

In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely: and this is His name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

But, The LORD lives, who brought up and led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries where I had driven them; and they will dwell in their own land.

My heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man who wine has overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of His Holiness.

For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mournes; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, their course is evil, and their force is not right.

For both prophet and priest are profane; yes, in my house have I found their wickedness, says the LORD.

Therefore their way will be to them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, says the LORD.

And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, so that none return from their wickedness: they are all of them as Sodom to me, and the inhabitants are as of Gomorrah.

Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, Hearken not to the words of the prophets that prophesy to you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

They say still to them that despise Me, The LORD has said,
You shall have peace; and they say to every one that walks after the imagination of his own heart, no evil shall come upon you.

For who has stood in the counsel of the LORD, and has perceived and heard His word?

Who has marked his word, and heard it?

Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

The anger of the LORD will not return, until He has executed, and till He has performed the thoughts of His heart: in the latter days you will consider it perfectly.

I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran:

I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused my people to hear My words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

Am I a God at hand, says the LORD, and not a God afar off?

Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? says the LORD.

Do not I fill heaven and earth? says the LORD.

I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies?

Yes, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Who think to cause my people to forget My name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten My name for Baal [ jesus / christ ].

The prophet that has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that has My word, let him speak My word faithfully.

What is the chaff to the wheat? says the LORD.

Is not My Word like a fire? says the LORD; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, says the LORD, that steal My Words every one from his neighbor.

Behold, I am against the prophets, says the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He says.

Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, says the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness;

Yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they will not profit this people at all, says the LORD.

And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask you, saying, What is the burden of the LORD?

You will then say to them, What burden? I will even forsake you, says the LORD.

And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that will say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that person and their house.

Thus will you say every one to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, What has the LORD answered? And, What has the LORD spoken?

And the burden of the LORD will you mention no more: for every man's word will be his burden; for you have perverted the words of the Living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

Thus will you say to the prophet,
What has the LORD answered you? and, What has the LORD spoken?

But since you say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus says the LORD;

Because you say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent to you, saying, you shall not say, The burden of the LORD;

Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of My presence:

And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten."

The response of my "christ-ian" friend was typical of those who are still in the "churchgame". Although, many have not come to knowledge of the truth. MANY of the so-called "pastors" DO know the truth and CHOOSE not to tell the people, because it would lighten their pockets/pocketbooks considerably.

What he said was...
"The problem with the baptist churches in general is [the are] stuck in tradition."

What he fails to realize is that the "church" IS a TRADITION...

"YAHWEH! The Creator of Good and Evil"

Again, we have been taught that only good comes from God and all evil comes from the devil.

But the Word of God says different; The truth is, God is the creator of good AND evil.

We must not think we have to "understand" everything the Lord does or why He does it, because we won't! He says…

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.
Isaiah 55:9

However, our inability to understand all that God does, does not change the Truth of the Scriptures. We should not be discouraged because there is so much that we CAN understand...

Like...
"No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn."

THE CONCEPT OF GIFTING

Many start-up gifting programs are a good place to lose your money. Here today and gone tomorrow, along with your money. You "gave" but it never lasted long enough for you to "receive" your "gifts".

However, there ARE well managed gifting programs with rules, safeguards, and controls that absolutely DO work and pay just like they are supposed to.

Unfortunately, gifting programs are probably one of the biggest targets SEC goes after to shutdown and get people in trouble for promoting.

Because of this, some no longer participate or promote them to others. In addition, there's a whole lotta negative information readily available on the Internet about gifting programs.

Just remember, its very easy to publish online and chat away. I've been doing business successfully online since 1999. And I have learned that the Internet allows a lot of foolish people, who have NEVER made any money online, to have a voice. And I'm not saying that to be mean, I've just always been outspoken.

What is private gifting? Private gifting is a concept that is embraced by a private group of individuals and has been in existence for many years. This private activity does not involve network marketing, multi-level marketing, a business or commercial activity.

There are no business transactions, investments and/or securities involved in this activity. There is no business or company name or location and there are no directors, officers, shareholders or principals. Individuals simply support each other in a team concept and help change lives.

The concept of private gifting is based upon the fact that both American and Canadian citizens have the right to gift property, cash and other assets within the rules and regulations established by the laws.

The Government and state attorney general's offices would really like to not see gifting programs; the reason obviously is that a lot of people stand to lose money in gifting programs that stop or dead end. However, many more people throw their money away at state lotteries as well as state licensed gambling casinos, but apparently that's okay huh???

The Internet is different in that at an influx of 60,000 people per day coming online, there are plenty of people to feed a lot of gifting programs. They're not get rich quick scams or schemes, but they CAN significantly add another source of income to your financial situation.

How did this concept begin?
Giving private gifts to one another is an expression of kindness, which has been going on for centuries. Governments have allowed its practice for individuals to share their wealth with families, friends and others. It has been a means of helping and blessing others on special occasions or when the need arises. In fact, to be considered a gift under the Tax Code, the gift “must proceed from a detached and disinterested generosity; out of affection, respect, admiration, charity or similar impulse.”

In this activity, there are no expectations for exchange of services or any other valuable consideration between the giver and the receiver. Many cultures gift as a matter of course. Asian, Jewish and South American communities gift individuals within their race and/or culture on a regular basis so that they may start a business or buy a home. They in turn gift someone else to help enhance their lives.

Habitat for Humanity is a great example of private gifting. Everyone participates with their time, their talents and materials to build a home for someone else. Some participate with a hammer, some with nails, some with food and others with the monetary gifts to purchase the supplies, but all create a team that works together to bless someone’s life.

The key to "gifting" is to NOT expect something in return - this is where the SEC has the hardspot with gifting clubs because most of the time when we join a gifting club and gift someone we DO expect to receive a gift returned from someone in the future.

How does the gifting activity work?
Individuals share using a basic concept that “all things must be done in order”, and following the law of reciprocity—giving opens the way for receiving.

This activity is offered only by means of an exclusive one-to-one invitation. When someone accepts the invitation, they move through a natural progression from the giving to the receiving stage of the activity which can take from a couple of days to a couple of weeks...

In this activity, there is no fixed hierarchy of individuals who have an advantageous position or unfair advantage over new participants. You have the ability to receive as much as anyone else in the program that brings the same number of people to the table, no matter when you enter.

Concerned about the legality of gifting? It is 100% Legal according to some; but the SEC does not fall in the "some" category. And until recently, it seemed as though our government had become a big bully with the primary mission of keeping us broke and in slavery to the JOB, instead of helping people.

If you look at the last 60 years of economics in America we have become the proverbial frog put in the pot of cold water with the burner turned on to cook to a slow death without even being aware of it. Our rights have been erroded away, government is trying to disarm us (how many round clips can you buy today for a handgun or rifle), all in preparation for the new World Order. If you don't know what that's all about head for the last chapter of the Scriptures "The Revelation."

The U.S. gifting rules are found in the IRS Tax Code, Title 26, Sections 2501-2504 and 2511, and Canadian Tax Code, Sections 143.3 and 62.0. The law states that one or more individuals can give a gift to another individual of up to $10,000 each per calendar year without any tax liability to either the giver or receiver of the gift, because the tax on the gift has already been paid.

These gifts are not included in the gross income of the recipient – Sec. 102 (1986U.S. Tax Code).

The Example We Are To Follow

“Be you followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”
1 Corinthians 11:1

Paul is saying to the believers in Corinth, to follow his example as he follows the example of Christ… And this is for believers today as well.

We are NOT to follow those who are not following the example of Christ! And I mean the ‘Scriptural’ example of Jesus -- NOT what some folks are teaching about Him.

For instance, the idea that Jesus was soft spoken and basically “mealy-mouthed” is TOTALLY not true. During the time of His earthly ministry, Jesus was very outspoken and when He saw injustice, hypocrisy and wrong-doing, He EXPOSED it!!!

In Matthew 6:1-2 Jesus is teaching His disciples (followers) saying…
“Take care not to do your good works before men, to be seen by them; or you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. ” (BBE)

"So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.”

Jesus came to be Light in a dark world… John 1:4-5
And ultimately, His example is the one we are to follow…

A Word About "Halloween"

This is what the LORD says: "Do not learn the ways of the heathens or be terrified by signs in the sky, though the nations are terrified by them.
Jeremiah 10:2

A Word from the Lord about “All Hallows Eve…” better known as Halloween.

Just like all the other pagan holidays, Halloween has no Scriptural basis whatsoever!

The Word of The Lord says…
"When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone… who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord"
Deuteronomy 18:9–14

Dabbling in witchcraft, the occult and idolatry is clearly condemned in these passages of Scripture! But just like the Israelites, Christians continue to ignore these commands. And just like Israel incurred God’s wrath, so will those who say the are Christians and continue to participate in this demonic revelry after the Truth has been revealed to them.

Halloween has its roots in in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain. And The festival of Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest season in Gaelic culture, and is sometimes regarded as the "Celtic New Year".

Traditionally, the celebration was a time used by the ancient Celtic pagans to take inventory of supplies and slaughter livestock for winter stores. The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, now known as Halloween, the boundary between the living and the dead dissolved, and the dead become dangerous for the living by causing problems such as sickness or damaged crops.

The festivals would frequently involve bonfires, into which bones of slaughtered livestock were thrown. Costumes and masks were also worn at the festivals in an attempt to mimic the evil spirits or placate them.

During those times, often humans were burned in these bonfires along with cattle and other animals.

"Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”

"...Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."John 8:31-32

"TRUTH AND FREEDOM"

I've been listening to the Lord Jesus speaking to me about Truth... HIS TRUTH.
I cannot count the number of times I've heard John 8:32 quoted.

"... And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Well, that's only half of the WHOLE truth. Because what Jesus actually said was this.

"IF you CONTINUE in MY WORD, THEN are you MY disciples indeed, AND... you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free." That's the preceding verse 31

So ya see?

We've got folks running around quoting half a verse of Scripture, that does not even apply to them.

Knowing the Truth and being made free, is ONLY for disciples of Jesus Christ, learners, students... if you will.
Those who are continuing (abiding) IN HIS WORD!

And, if we are NOT continuing in HIS WORD, then we are NOT HIS disciples.

Saints, let's not be deceived by the adversary, ourselves or the world...
